What is IAPP?
The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is the world’s largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community, established in 2000 as a non-profit, policy-neutral professional organization. IAPP drives improvement in privacy practices worldwide and provides a unique global resource bringing together professionals, tools, and information management methodologies in one place.
IAPP’s headquarters are located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA, and Brussels, Belgium. There are IAPP staff in more than 10 countries worldwide, and the organization has over 70,000 individual members in more than 100 countries. IAPP members come from all industries and fields within the privacy ecosystem: staff from various companies ranging from startups to the world’s largest corporations, law firms, government agencies, NGOs, privacy supervisory authorities, innovators, universities and research institutions. Recently, technical professionals in the information technology and information security fields have also begun joining due to their professional requirements.
IAPP holds conferences worldwide, providing publicity opportunities for a wide range of experts with various perspectives. It also conducts and provides training, certification, reports, research, and events related to privacy and data protection, as well as providing networking opportunities to members.
Whether operating as a multinational corporation or a startup, anywhere in the world, IAPP’s resources help organizations handle privacy properly. Additionally, by complying with the latest laws and regulations, organizations can demonstrate their commitment to customer privacy and data protection, giving them an advantage over competitors.
Benefits of Learning Through IAPP Training
Protecting data in the appropriate way is labor-intensive work, and the need for specialized expertise will only continue to grow. To adapt to the constantly changing external environment while confronting internal challenges, organizations must adopt appropriate tools and cultivate specialized knowledge. IAPP training provides tools and knowledge that are systematically organized for individuals and organizations to succeed.
IAPP develops best practices for data protection professionals, stays current with trends while identifying key solutions to important issues, and standardizes recommended approaches. Through these activities, IAPP operates as a platform for promoting education and guidance on data privacy.

APP Data Protection Training
IAPP data protection training is the ideal way to deepen your specialized knowledge in data protection and privacy. Through IAPP training, you can gain a comprehensive understanding that goes beyond individual topics by learning broader context and underlying principles.
You can receive live training either online or in-person. Since data protection is a difficult field to master, learning face-to-face with expert instructors provides immeasurable value to participants.
Training sessions will be useful for those aiming to obtain various certifications provided by IAPP and those who want to enhance their knowledge of privacy. Through our training, participants can adequately prepare for new data protection laws such as GDPR, CPRA, LGPD, PIPL, and others.
This course is not purely an “exam preparation,” as it goes beyond test-taking strategies to build deep, practical knowledge. Additionally, this training does not guarantee that participants will pass the exam. Since certification exams are not that easy, we recommend practicing thoroughly before taking them.
For those who want to prepare through practice exercises for certification exams, please consider taking the Full course for each training (CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPT).
